Almighty support from the Almighty Drinks whānau

Since 2015, New Zealand drinks company, Almighty, has been on a mission to create conscious, clean, delicious, and environmentally-friendly juices and drinks for those who care about the environment and want to contribute positively to the next generation.

From their very beginnings, Almighty has been determined to use their business as a platform to do good - and here at Garden to Table, we consider ourselves lucky to be on the receiving end of their kindness.

Not only does Almighty generously donate 3 cents from every drink sale to our programme, but every fortnight, their staff head along to a local Garden to Table school, to volunteer their time in the garden and kitchen.

The team at Almighty consider themselves to be foodies at heart. With a passion for passing on knowledge about where good food comes from, Almighty believes that there is huge value in the simple knowledge of gardening and cooking with fresh, seasonal produce.

“It is not only great from a nutritional perspective but also the learning environment of being outdoors and in the kitchen has a really positive effect”, Almighty co-founder Ben Lenart tells us.

Like us, Almighty recognises that not everyone is able to thrive in the classroom. But, in the garden and kitchen, science, maths, and communication skills are naturally learned and applied - and their team believes that a lot of good can come from this.

When asked about the highlight of their volunteer experience, the Almighty team struggle to pick just one.

Building chicken coops at Dingwall Trust was noted as a recent highlight - but seeing the kids work together week-in and week-out is also special.

Through it all, it’s seeing their support in action that means the most.

“We love seeing the impact it has on the kids”, Ben says. “We always walk away with a smile on our dial”.

Ngā mihi maioha, Almighty. We are so grateful for your kind support, and are inspired by the difference you’re making every day.
