A free cookbook of recipes for Spring

Spring is in the air, and we’ve been enjoying planting seeds, nurturing seedlings, and seeing lovely Spring produce start to appear at the shops! We thought it was the perfect time to share our Spring Garden to Table cookbook to help you make this season’s veggies the stars of your meals.

This cookbook is part of a series, with the Autumn and Winter instalments available for download too. The recipes were edited by Catherine Bell, Garden to Table’s co-founder, and the chair of our charitable trust.

We are pleased to offer this recipe book as a gift, part of our kaupapa of encouraging people to grow, cook and eat fresh produce.

The Spring cookbook includes family favourites like baked beans and fritters, learning to make plant-based versions of comfort foods including samosas and rice paper rolls, and a Moroccan tarte tatin that would be perfect for having guests over. Never quite sure what to do with beetroot? We’ve got a risotto and a salad idea!

Your free cookbook download is below. If you’d like to support the Garden to Table programme in New Zealand schools, please consider a donation to the Spring fundraising appeal for our charitable trust. Your support helps us to empower tamariki across Aotearoa to learn to grow and cook their own seasonal produce, using recipes like these! We’re so grateful for your support.
